28.06.2013. se pojavila novija verzija Audacious plejera 3.4. Jedina stvar što buni je što je na sajtu objavljeno da je izašla verzija 3.4 a source je za 3.4-beta 2 :question:

Ja sam skinuo source i za Audacious i za audacious-plugins (oba za 3.4-beta2 - source). Slackbuildove sam preuzeo sa sledećih lokacija i malo prepravio:

Izmene u slackbuildovima su sledeće:
  • raniji source je imao tar.xz extenziju, slackbuild je prepravljen da extraktuje tar.?z*
  • dodat je -_stereo tag
Razlike u odnosu na verziju 3.3.1 (stiže uz Slackware 14) su:
Changes in Audacious 3.4 since 3.3:
  • Added a new scrobbler plugin which uses the Last.fm Scrobbling API 2.0;
  • Added a new 3D frequency spectrum visualizer, ported from XMMS;
  • Album art fetching is now done in the background so that it will not make the UI unresponsive;
  • Added a new command-line option (--quit-after-play) has been added to allow the player to exit automatically when finished playing;
  • A global hotkey can be configured to enable/disable the "stop after current song" option;
  • The ModPlug plugin has a new preferences window;
  • An alternative sample rate converter plugin, using libsoxr, has been added;
  • When search terms are too generic, the search tool now shows the first 100 results instead of showing no results as in previous versions.

GTK interface changes in Audacious 3.4:
  • Playlist columns can now be resized, however, according to the changelog, this requires GTK 3.8 to work properly;
  • New option to automatically remove duplicate entries from a playlist;
  • New option to repeat only a portion of a song ("A-to-B repeat");
  • New option to show remaining instead of elapsed time;
  • Playlist entries can now be sorted by song length;
  • New option to sort, randomize, and reverse the order of selected playlist entries only

Uh da ne zaboravim. Ovaj paket nećete moći koristiti na 13.37 zbog nedostatka gtk+ 3 za ovu verziju Slackware-a. Bar ja nisam našao neko provereno rešenje.

Odrađen brzi test na sveže instaliranom Slackware64. Testirani su samo 64-bitni paketi. Kompajlirani paket radi pri pokretanju, ali pluginovi zahtevaju nekoliko paketa koji nisu dostupni u zvaničnim repoima. Moguće ih je instalirati sa SlackBuilds.org ili iz alienbobovog repoa.

To su:
ffmpeg (libavcodec, libavformat, libavutil), lame, faad

Testirani i 32-bitni paketi. Za razliku od 64-bitnih, nemaju dodatnih zavisnosti. Čini se da šljaka ok.
