X proces uzima previše CPU-a

Od skoro sam primetio da mi pri podizanju sistema Xorg uzima jako mnogo CPU-a. Podiže čak i do 45% a u pitanju je dual core. Samim tim, mnogo se brže greje pa veoma brzo nabije temperaturu i do 65 stepeni. Što se RAM memorije tiče nije ništa strašno. To je verovatno od nekog apdejta ali ne znam tačno od kada.. U pitanju je Arch linux. Gledao sam na njihovoj news stranici ali nema ništa.

Ima li neko rešenje?

Koja je grafička u pitanju? Koji drajver? Jesi li bacio pogled na /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

U pitanju je integrisana Intel grafika i instaliran je drajver za nju. Nažalost, nisam toliko verziran da bih mogao da vidim u logovima u čemu je problem. Mogu da ga okačim ako može da pomogne.

Okači log ako možeš da pogledamo da li se dešava nešto neobično. Arch je roling release i ja sam (dok sam ga koristio) imao problem sa nvidija grafikom (drajveri su posle update-a uvek izbacivali greške) ali su ti problemi obično rešavani sami od sebe (narednim update-om).

Izvinite na kašnjenju drugari. Nažalost nije se ispravilo nakon nekoliko poslednjih apdejta. Mislim da je problem nastao od poslednjeg updejta kernela, ne sećam se da sam to primetio pre toga. Sinoć je recimo nagurao temp na oko 75 stepeni. U radu se ne oseća, sve radi najnormalnije. Da nemam senzor ne bih verovatno ni provalio. Tek kada sam vide senzor i stavio ruku kod kulera, video sam koliko je zapravo toplo.

Malo sam eksperimentisao sa XFCE i problem je upravo tu. Izgleda da se XFCE i Intelov drajver za grafiku ne poklapaju kako treba. Kada sam se vratio na "moj" LXDE sve je bilo u redu. Takođe, probao sam i Openbox, kao i Cinnamon, nema nikakvih problema.

Viđao sam i po drugim forumima da ljudi imaju isti problem a koriste upravo XFCE. Sad, šta se tu tačno dešava, ne znam.

Da li ti je bio uključen compositing u xfce window manager opcijama? Ne vidim šta bi drugo moglo da zeza.

Btw, koja je verzija Xfcea u Archu? 4.8 ili 4.10?

Nije bio uključen a trenutna verzija je 4.10. Na Arču je uvek poslednja moguća verzija što nekada ume da bude i loše. Ne znam ni ja šta je u pitanju ali kako sam uklonio XFCE problem je nestao. Verovatno neki problem sa drajverom. Skoro svaki problem na koji sam naišao na drugim forumima je Intel grafika+XFCE ali nije bio u pitanju samo Arč već i druge distribucije. To mi je i bilo čudno jer kada je problem do paketa i apdejta vrlo brzo se ispravi. Odmah na sajt izbace obaveštenje i smernice za rešavanje problema. Jel neko od vas slekveraša imao sličan problem?

Imam Intel integrušu + ATI na ovom kompu. Koristio sam i jednu i drugu bez ikakvih problema. A Xfce 4.10 koristim od aprila i prerelease 1 verzije. To ne znači da nije moguće da zaista postoji neki problem, samo mi to zvuči jako čudno. Kad i ako uhvatiš vremena, baci link ka nekom od sličnih problema koje si viđao na netu.
